Tribratanews.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The “Damai Cartenz 2023” task force arrested an Armed Criminal Group (KKB) member in the Ilaga area, Puncak Regency, Papua with the initials B alias YM.
Police Senior Superintendent Faizal Ramadhani explained that the arrests began with information from the public regarding the whereabouts of a member of the KKB, who then immediately moved to make an arrest.
"For now the person concerned has been secured at the Puncak Police for examination by investigators," said Head of Peace Ops Cartenz 2023, Friday (4/7/23).
The perpetrator with the initials YM had a long list of terrorist acts committed and was an accomplice to the leaders of the KKB, Numbuk Telenggen, and Pilanus Walker.
Some of YM's actions include:
1. Involved in shooting a motorcycle taxi driver on behalf of Udin to death in Eromaga Village, Omikia District, Puncak Regency, Papua. The shooting took place on April 14, 2021.
2. Burning of the BTS tower on January 3, 2021, and burning of the UP MI815 Helicopter belonging to PT Ersa at Aminggaru Airport on April 11, 2021.
3. Involved in the shooting of members of the Nemangkawi Task Force in Olenki Village on 27 April 2021.
