The disclosure of 28 gambling cases was from over a period of 8 months, from January to August 2022.
According to the Head of Public Relations of the Bengkulu Police, Commissioner Sudarno, said the prosecution of this crime is part of a routine activity carried out by the Bengkulu Police in enforcing the law against crimes that affect the community.
"From January 2022 to August 2022, a total of 28 gambling cases were successfully uncovered by the Bengkulu Police," explained Commissioner Sudarno. From the 28 cases, the police managed to arrest 89 suspects.
The Head of Public Relations of the Bengkulu Police explained, that those disclosure is a form of their commitment in eradicating all kinds of public disturbances. He also emphasized that there is zero tolerance for this gambling case, no one is above the law.
