Tribratanews.polri.go.id -  North Sumatra Police confiscated assets belonging to an online gambling boss. The assets were a 5-storey shop house (ruko) belonging to A alias J in the Cemara Asri Complex, Percut Seituan District, Deliserdang Regency, Monday (10/17). The confiscation was carried out according to the letter of determination from the Lubuk Pakam District Court dated October 14th, 2022.

The Head of General Information Sub-Division of North Sumatra Police, AKBP Herwansyah, said that the building was bought from the money laundering of online gambling. The estimated price of the confiscated build today is Rp20 billion.

"This is the third confiscation that we had carried out," explained AKBP Herwansyah.

“On September 23, we confiscated seven assets estimated around Rp27.2 billion in the Cemara Asri complex. Then the confiscation continued to five other assets in several different locations with a price range of Rp21.6 billion. The total assets confiscated from the online gambling boss reached IDR 68 billion," said AKBP Herwansyah as quoted from pmjnews.

He continued that the North Sumatra Police will still be continued because there are still several assets whose stipulations have not yet been issued by the Lubuk Pakam District Court.

"We are still waiting for the Lubukpakam District Court's decision. Later, after the District Court's decision is issued, the confiscation will be continued," said the Head of the North Sumatra Police General Information.
