Police managed to arrest six perpetrators who mixed the three kg LPG gas cylinders into non-subsidized gas cylinders in Cilegon, Banten. The police stated that the six suspects have their own different roles.
Their actions were discovered after there were reports from the public regarding suspicions of 3 kg of gas being injected into a non-subsidized 12 kg gas cylinder. The police then investigated the report and arrested six perpetrators with the initials JS (46) and OT (44) from Tangerang City, HS (26) and FS (25) from North Sumatra, HS (34) from West Jakarta, and CN (54) from Serang.
“Using iron pipes measuring approximately 10 cm and ice blocks, they move every four three kg LPG cylinders to empty 12 kg LPG cylinders," explained Cilegon Police Chief, AKBP Eko Tjahyo Untoro during a press conference in Ciwandan Police HQ, Thursday (6/10/2022).
The police chief revealed that the perpetrators of the practice of copying had only been running for two days in Cilegon, the purpose of the perpetrators of making copying was to get a bigger profit.

"Right on Saturday (24/9/2022) at approximately 11:00 WIB, the perpetrators were finally arrested while doing their criminal acts," he said.
During the arrest, the police arrested five perpetrators, each of whom acted as a driver and operator who injected the LPG gas. The police then developed the case and arrested another suspect who provided the place of the criminal operation.
