Denpasar Police Arrests A Murder Suspect

Throughout the year 2022, South Kalimantan Police recorded 843 traffic accidents with 372 fatalities.

"On average, at least one person died every day due to traffic accidents in South Kalimantan throughout 2022," said South Kalimantan Chief Police Inspector General Andi Rian R. Djajadi in his statement on Monday (2/1/23).

He explained that the number of seriously injured victims was 98, or an increase of 24 percent in comparison to that in 2021 which recorded as many as 679 traffic accidents with 353 fatalities.

He urged the public to be more careful and obey the traffic rules in order to escape traffic accidents.
