Tribratanews.polri.go.id - Surabaya. Two drug smugglers from Sumatra were arrested by the Surabaya Police Drugs Investigation Unit. From the hands of the two suspect, police managed to confiscate 25 kg of methamphetamine and thousands of ecstasy pills.
“Until now, the police is still developing the said case of international drug smuggling,” said the Head of Surabaya Police Drugs Investigation Unit, AKBP Daniel Marunduri, quoted from Memorandum.co.id, Monday (10/31).
AKBP Daniel explained that the reveals of the drug smuggling case was the development from the previous drug cases that has been handled by Surabaya Police Drugs Investigation Unit. Then, the police did a profiling and finally managed to arrest the two drug traffickers from Sumatra after they tried to retrieved the illicit goods. It is said that the goods was about to be sent to East Java.
