Tribratanews.go.id - A total of 212 illegal Indonesian migrant workers (PMI) were detained at Kualanamu Airport, Deli Serdang, North Sumatra. They were arrested when they are about to go to Cambodia.
"That's right," confirmed the Head of Public Relations of the North Sumatra Police, Commissioner Hadi Wahyudi, when asked about the PMI arrest, Friday (12/08/22).
He said that the 212 illegal migrant workers came from various provinces in Indonesia. Police officers are currently processing the 212 illegal PMIs.
Police Commissioner Hadi Wahyudi stated that they have been taken to the North Sumatra Police HQ for further investigation.
