Tribratanews.polri.go.id - Labuan Bajo. he Directorate of Air and Water Police of the East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) Police, managed to arrest three perpetrators who hoards 1,780 liters of subsidized diesel fuel in Labuan Bajo, West Manggarai.
“A total of 1,780 liters of subsidized fuel were transported using 89 jerry cans, each containing 20 liters. A total of 580 liters were confiscated from the perpetrators with the initials AL, while the other 1,200 liters are from the perpetrators with the initials K and A. The three perpetrators work as fishermen, "explained the Director of Air and Water Police of NTT Police, Commissioner Nyoman Budiarja, Wednesday (28/09/22).
“AL initially bought the subsidized fuel in Bima Regency with the price of Rp6,800 per liters and resell it in Komodo Island with the price of Rp8,800 liters. AL did this illegal transaction two times since July 2022,” add Commissioner Nyoman Budiarja.
The perpetrators were charged with Article 55 of Law Number 22 of 2001 concerning Oil and Gas as amended and added to paragraph 5 point 9 article 55 of Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 11 of 2020 concerning Job Creation with a maximum imprisonment of six years and a maximum fine of IDR 60 billion.
