Metro Jaya Police have officially launched ETLE Mobile and emphasized that it will be used at toll roads. Currently, there are 11 ETLE Mobile that have been installed in Traffic Police car patrol at Metro Jaya Police where they will patrol the streets in an unspecified time.
However, Traffic Director of Metro Jaya Police, Commissioner Latif Usman, implies that his unit will patrol around the time at it’s most hectic. While for enforcing the law, it will depend on the case and place.
“For example, if we operated in a place where its prone of traffic accident, well we will definitely act firmly,” says Commissioner Latif Usman, as quoted from pmjnews.com, Tuesday (12/13).
Previously, Metro Jaya Police have launched a trial of 11 ELTE Mobile in commemoration of its 73th anniversary. The tech is expected to enforce the law automatically in the streets of Jakarta.
