Tribratanews.polri.go.id – Jakarta. Investigators from the Directorate of Special Economics Crime of Criminal Investigation Agency have suspected evidence of TPPU, referring to money laundering crime, in the Indosurya Cooperation and Loan Saving (KSP) case.
Director of Special Economics Crime Brigadier General Whisnu Hermawan said that the investigators will thoroughly examine all cases related to Indosurya, in close coordination with the Public Prosecutor.
“Our aim is to uncover all aspects of the case, including TPPU, as there are indications,” he said in a statement on Thursday (2/2/23).
Coordinating Minister for Politics, Law, and Security Mahfud MD had previously commented on the suspected fraud and embezzlement and embezzlement of funds in the Indosurya KSP case, asserting the case should not be considered a civil matter, as ruled by the judge.
In response, the police launched a new investigation on February 1, 2023 which is distinct from the previous case that resulted in the acquittal of the defendants in the Indosurya KSP case.
