Police Arrest a Weed Smugglers in Cipayung

The Directorate of Drug Criminal Investigation of the Indonesian Police arrested two drug traffickers in Cipayung, East Jakarta, Friday (16/12).

The Director of Drugs Criminal Investigation of the National Police, Brigadier General Krisno Halomoan Siregar, confirmed the arrest of two drug traffickers with the initials of M and MF.

"The two perpetrators were arrested because they were found to be distributing a kilogram of marijuana," he said as quoted from pmjnews.com, Saturday (12/17).

During the arrest, MF was shot because he tried to resist and run away. "The suspect MF had to be shot by the officer because he tried to fight the officer and ran away," he explained.

MF is still undergoing a medical treatment at the Kramat Jati Police Hospital due to the gunshot wound he suffered. While M has been secured and detained at the Criminal Investigation Police Detention Center.
