Head of Public Relations of the North Sumatra Police, Commissioner Hadi Wahyudi, confirmed the information regarding the raid.
"Yes, that's right. Early this morning, our Police Chief and joint unit immediately went to the Online Gambling Location," confirmed the Head of Public Relations of the North Sumatra Police.
The location of this gambling operation is in the Medan Elite Residential Area, disguised as a culinary place under the name of Warung WW.
This location is strongly suspected of being the operator of the largest online gambling site in North Sumatra, with the name of LEBAH4D, DEWAJUDI4D and LARIS4D.
All of these joint personnel arrived at the location at 00:30 a.m., and the raid went on until 02:15 a.m.
Hundreds of computers and laptops suspected of being used to spread online gambling sites were secured by the Joint Team, until this news was revealed the team was still investigating.
