Tribratanews.polri.go.id - Palembang. After an officer of Criminal Investigation Unit (Satreskrim) of Depatamental Police (Polres) of East OKU, Bripda M. Syahril Maulana Harahap, was gunned down, The Chief of South Sulawesi Regional Police (Kapolda Sulsel) immediately ordered his officers to hunt down the perpetrator.
Recently, a member of Polres East OKU died after being shot when he arrested a criminal in Oki Regent on Friday (25/3/2022) morning.
"Until now, we still investigating it, whether the perpetrator is the suspect that was about to be arrested by Syahril or another person," said Kapolda Sumsel, Saturday (26/3/2022).
He added that Polda Sumsel officers have arrived in the location and conducted a reconstruction of the criminal act that killed one of their members.
"Based on the report that we received, there were no retaliation in the arresting process. But, when the suspect was just about to be transported to the police station, suddenly there was a gun shot," concluded the Two-Star General.
