Until September 2022, the Regional Police of Central Kalimantan have arrested 712 suspects of drugs abuse from 569 cases.
The Director of Drug Investigation Unit of Central Kalimantan Police, Commissioner Nono Wardoyo said that hundreds of suspects that have been secured were also thanks to the resort polices in Central Kalimantan who disclosed the drugs abuse cases.
“From our disclosure since January 1st to September 30th, we have successfully disclosed 569 cases of drugs abuse with 712 suspects,” said Commissioner Nono on Thursday (10/6).
The drugs that have been confiscated by the police are methamphetamine, ecstasy, marijuana, gorilla tobacco, carisoprodol, and hard pills.
In detail, the Central Kalimantan Police have confiscated 681 ecstasy pills, 29.89 kilograms of methamphetamine, 96.23 grams of marijuana, 12.87 grams of gorilla tobacco, 5,954 cariprosodol and various 7,887 G drugs.
The Central Kalimantan Police also destroyed the drugs that have been confiscated from eight cases, which 422 ecstasy pills and 1,223.91 grams of crystal methamphetamine. "In Palangkaraya City there were four cases with five suspects and 1,079.25 grams of crystal methamphetamine as the evidence. Meanwhile, in East Kotawaringin Regency, there were four cases, with four suspects and 144.66 grams of crystal methamphetamine as the evidence," he explained.
Those eight cases itself was disclosed during the Telabang Antique Operation 2022.
