Jambi Police Destroyed Drug Evidence Worth of 68 Billions Rupiah

Tribratanews.polri.go.id - Jambi.   The Jambi Police's Drugs Investigation Directorate destroyed evidence of narcotics worth Rp6.8 billion. The evidence of methamphetamine weighing 2,239.7 grams and 273 pills of ecstasy was destroyed by means of a blender at the 2nd floor hall of the Jambi Police Headquarters in Thehok area, Jambi City, Tuesday (18/10/22).

Quoted from mitrabhayangkara.com, Jambi Police Director of Narcotics Investigation, Commissioner Thomas Panji confirmed the destruction of drugs worth Rp6.8 billion was done in a blender.

"From this evidence, the officers also secured 10 suspects from the 5 cases that we revealed. They have their own respective roles, and they were arrested in different locations,” he said.

According to the Commissioner Thomas Panji, the arrest and disclosure of this drug abuse was thanks to a report from the public, from the results of the examination of samples of evidence, the illicit goods contain amphetamine.

"We will eradicate all forms of drug transactions. We will continue to pursue them until there is no drug trafficking in Jambi. If you found something is considered suspicious in the area, please immediately report it to the nearest police,” he explained.

He also appealed to the community to continue to help the police to solve each case.
