The perpetrator of Human Trafficking Crimes (TPPO), initialed IS from Jakarta to Saudi Arabia, have been secured by the General Criminal Investigation of NTB Police, November 29, 2022.
“The team of NTB Police General Criminal Investigation have disclosed TPPO of children after securing a suspect on November 29th, 2022,” explained Head of NTB Police Public Relations, Commissioner Artanto, quoted from analisnews.co.id, Tuesday (12/13).
“During the arrest, 32 passport have been secured, most of them are from Sukabumi, Madura, and Sulawesi,” said Commissioner Artanto.
He explained that the disclosure of TPPO began when a report from a family who their children, with the initials of B (14) from Dompu, has been smuggled to Saudi Arabia.
Meanwhile, the Director of General Criminal Investigation of NTB Police, Commissioner Teddy Rustiawan, says that B have been sent in January 2022. “The victim is 14 years old, but his age are forged to be 25 years old,” he says.
The police revealed that the case revealed when B told the parents about his conditions, where his complaints have been forwarded to BP3MI and then went to inform the police. From the investigation results, by Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Consulate in Jeddah, the police and consulate have succeded in finding the victims and sent him back home in September 2022.
