For Ten Days, Banten Police Arrest a Total of 23 Street Thugs

The Head of Public Realations of Banten Police, Commissioner Shinto Bina Gunawan Silitonga, revealed that for ten days, the General Criminal Investigation Directorate of Banten Police, along with the Resort Police Criminal Investigation Unit in the area, managed to uncover 11 cases of street criminal, Wednesday (10/26).

“From the 11 cases, five cases were revealed by Tangerang Police and two cases by Pandeglang Police. Other disclosures were revealed by Banten Police General Criminal Investigation Directorate, Serang Police, Lebak Police, and Serang Resort Police, with each of them secured a case,” he said.

He continued that 23 street thugs had been arrested in those cases. The sad truth is that among those 23, 12 of them are still underage.

Commissioner Shinto then explained that the six arrest was made by General Criminal Investigation Directorate of Banten Police, 11 by Tangerang Police, one suspect each by Serang Resort Police and Serang Police, and two suspect each by Pandeglang Police and Lebak Police.

Banten Police also conveyed their condolences for the death of two victims due to the criminal actions of street thugs in Tangerang. The investigation of this case has become the attention of Banten Police Chief, Rudy Heriyanto Adi Nugroho, and he asked that this case to be immediately completed and brought the suspect to justice.
