The Criminal Investigation Unit Named Two Suspects of KSP Sejahtera Bersama Embezzlement Case

Tribratanews.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The National Police Criminal Investigation Unit has named two suspects for frauding customer funds worth of Rp249 billion. This determination was made after investigators conducted a case of embezzlement of the Sejahtera Bersama Savings and Loans Cooperative (KSP) funds.

The suspects are IZ, the Head Supervisor and member of the KSP Sejahtera Bersama, and DZ, a member of KSP Sejahtera Bersama.

"IZ and DZ have been named as suspects in cases of alleged banking crimes and fund embezzlement cases from the Sejahtera Bersama Savings and Loans Cooperative funds, worth Rp249 billion,” said The Director of Special Economic Crimes of the Criminal Investigation Unit of the National Police, Brigadier General Whisnu Hermawan, Wednesday (05/10/22).

Police Brigadier General. Whisnu Hermawan explained that this case began with 25 police reports that have been submitted, both at the Criminal Investigation Unit of the National Police, Metro Jaya Police, Banten Police, West Java Police, and East Java Police.

The Director of Special Economic Crimes of the Criminal Investigation Unit of the National Police revealed that the total funds managed by KSP Sejahtera Bersama members reached Rp6.7 trillion and until now police investigators in collaboration with PPATK are investigating the flow of these funds.
