The Directorate of Narcotics Crime (Dittipidnarkoba) of the Criminal Investigation Agency (Bareskrim) of the National Police (Polri) is investigating whether there is a connection between the findings of 179 Kilograms (Kg) of drugs in Banten and 43 Kg in the Riau Islands (Kepri).
"We are also analyzing whether there is a link between the findings of 179 kg in Banten waters some time ago and the findings of cocaine in the Riau Islands," explained the Director of Dittipidnarkoba, Brigadier General Krisno Siregar, Wednesday (06/07/22).
Regarding the findings in the Riau Islands Province, He said that until now the owner of the illicit goods has not been found yet.
"So far, the team is still looking for the owner of 43 kg cocaine which was found by the community around Anambas Island - Riau Islands," he said at the National Police's Criminal Investigation Agency Building.
To find the owner of the illicit item, the One-Star General said that the police had deployed a team to conduct a search.
"The Directorate of Narcotics Crime, has assigned investigators to assist the Riau Islands Police to analyze the 43 kg of cocaine found in the waters of Anambas Island," explained the Akabri graduate in 1991.
